CARE CRADLE® presents at 2022 AVMA Convention
The 2022 American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Convention was held in Philadelphia from July 29 to August 2 and attracted over 7,000 attendees in person and a further 1,000+ who attended online. The CARE CRADLE® was displayed and demonstrated at our booth and we sponsored speakers at two sessions that carried Continuing Education credits for attending vets.
Sweet Goodbye’s Kerry Potter presented a Vet Talk and product demonstration titled: "A Game Changer for Euthanasia Outcomes," while New York City veterinarian Dr. Jessica Fragola was scheduled to present a talk about the CARE CRADLE® titled: "The Circle of Life: Musings on Making ‘End of Life’ as Beautiful as the Beginning". Unfortunately Dr. Fragola became ill and her session has graciously covered by Dr. Carling Sitterley, DVM, from Lap of Love – a group operating in 22 US states, providing in-home pet euthanasia, veterinary hospice and pet loss support services.
Our presence at the AVMA Convention generated a great deal of interest with many vets purchasing CARE CRADLE® products for use in their pratices. There was (and still is) a real buzz about the CARE CRADLE® with vets providing terrific feedback, most saying that there's simply nothing like it out there for helping both vets and their clients through the process of euthanasia and end of life. As Dr. Fragola has said: “The CARE CRADLE® is an absolutely beautiful and dignified way to help clients say goodbye to their loved ones… and so discreet when I have to carry deceased companion animals out of an apartment or house and onto the sidewalk.”
The CARE CRADLE® also helps vets to cope themselves with what is undoubtedly one of the hardest parts of their professional roles.
